Triathlon Course Description
Camp Eagle is one of the most magnificent places you'll ever see in Texas. It’s a solid 3 hour drive from Austin and about the same from San Antonio located at the headwaters of the Nueces River. We have been racing XTERRA Point Series races here for several years and for most people, if you come once, you will come again and again. Come and enjoy the tough course and beautiful setting with us again this year!!! It’s spectacular! All park/land use fees are included with all Race Revolutions races and you will not leave hungry or empty handed!
Swim Course Description - 1000M
Bring your wetsuits! The Nueces River is spring fed at a few million gallons a day and the perfect temp for our August date. The swim course is made up of a few sections: First there is an out and back section (easy) and then a few surprises hit you…like a dam, for instance. Be ready for adventure on the swim unlike any other race.
Mellow Johnny’s Bike Course Description - 16 Miles
I can sum it up quickly – beautiful single track under a thick canopy of trees….and rocks. It’s a favorite on the TMBRA series because it combines beauty and challenge in a way that most places can not. And for 2010, the bike course will be longer than it ever has been. We’ve added several miles to the bike course by including some new trail (!) and looping around to do the fun stuff twice!
Run Course Description – 4 miles
Running here is not so hard for some reason. There is not a lot of time to think about the pain as you try to navigate all the obstacles (rocks), inclines (big hills), and water (that river again). You might have wet shoes when you’re done. If you don’t, you cheated.
