Lace up your favorite running or walking shoes and join us at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, for this annual family-friendly foray. This year’s event promises to be even more fun with special prizes distributed to those businesses with the most participation, best combined time and even that business whose runners faint before the finish line will be recognized.
New facets to the fun include a new location and length. For the first time, participants will enjoy running/walking a 5K through the picturesque City of Olmos Park.
Bring your children! If your kids are 12 years and younger, they will enjoy the Junior Jog for Justice (an approximately ¼ mile fun run for kids), while older siblings may participate in the 5K run to compete for cash prizes.
After the race, stay to enjoy free refreshments, let your kids get their faces painted and pick up a balloon animal or two.
We need your help to set the pace for a successful event! Sponsorship levels are $300 (Bronze), $500 (Silver), $1,000 (Gold) and Title ($2500), which entitle each sponsor to free entries for the race, including all pre-post-race activities, early mention in the Subpoena, your name or firm’s name on the T-shirt, registration brochures and finish line banners. The number of free entries begins with 10 at the $300 level and increases with the sponsor amount.
Race to register because if you do so by November 17, the cost is $25. But, if you get a slow start and register November 18 through race day, the cost increases to $30. To register online, please go to: https://www.formstack.com/forms/RedemptionRP-sabar2010.
